My name is Russ Johnson, and I am a designer with a wealth of experience in delivering digital products and services, spanning over eighteen years. I am currently employed by CGI+BJSS where I am working on the NHS e-RS project.
I help teams solve problems and create new digital propositions and experiences. I enjoy working with others. For the past seven years, I have been working with high-profile organisations in the private and public sectors to reimagine and deliver their next generation of digital services.
When not making things online, I enjoy making music, watching live bands and walking the dog.

"I really enjoy working with Russell and have learned a lot from his UX mastery. He can not only get the job done well, but goes above and beyond to make sure that others go on that journey with him."
Andy Headspeath - Lead Content Designer, BJSS+CGI
"Russell brings a consistently high level of expertise and creativity to his work. He’s an excellent collaborator—skilled at facilitating productive conversations, quickly identifying the heart of an issue, and offering practical, well-considered solutions. His design outputs are always thoughtful, user-focused, and delivered to a high standard. I particularly appreciate how resourceful he is—making the most of what's available while still pushing for quality outcomes. What’s worked especially well is his ability to keep design decisions grounded in user needs and aligned with service goals. He consistently meets deadlines and commitments, which provides a real sense of dependability to the team. So far, there haven't been any major challenges in our collaboration—his open communication style and proactive approach make him a great person to work with."
